Toronto is situated on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. It is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. The TRIA team is grateful to work and live on this land, which is part of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between nations to share and protect the resources of the land.
