Arctic 360 is Canada’s premier Arctic think tank, with a mission to elevate the national conversation about the Arctic region, and to provide an inclusive and coordinated platform for Canada to engage in Arctic discussions around the world.
Since 2021, TRIA has been retained by Arctic 360 to curate its annual conference, a significant event that is attended by Northern and Indigenous governments and institutions, diplomats from the European Union and North America, and state and business leaders.
Earlier this year, the TRIA team delivered the most expansive Arctic 360 Annual Conference to date, bringing together global leaders in an intimate setting that provided participants with the opportunity to discuss, connect, and contribute.
Diplomats in attendance included Ambassadors to Canada from Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Japan, and Korea, and the Chair of the NATO Association of Canada, among other key Arctic region stakeholders.
Held at the University of Toronto’s elegant Faculty Club, the event’s theme was ‘Prosperity. Community. Security. It’s Time to Meet the Challenge’, reflecting the new horizons the Arctic region is encountering in the face of growing global attention and increasing geopolitical prominence.
The conference focused on a wide range of timely, relevant topics, including the impact of the war in Ukraine, Indigenous reconciliation, Arctic innovation, and the global transition to a net-zero energy economy. Networking breakfasts, cocktail receptions, and dinner events with thought leaders and change makers from around the world made the three-day conference complete.
